In this role, you will be responsible for performing mammography procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality imaging results. This position is vital to our commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and improve patient outcomes.
- Stay updated on advancements in mammography technology and techniques.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Certification as a Mammography Technologist from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology related to mammography.
- Experience with X-ray equipment and imaging techniques is essential.
- 50-mile travel radius
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly in emergency settings.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams.
