Summary
As an Ultrasonographer at ATC Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through advanced imaging techniques. This position offers opportunities for flexible scheduling and rewarding assignments across diverse healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while maintaining high standards of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results in compliance with medical regulations.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and best practices.
Requirements
- Certification as an Ultrasonographer (ARDMS or equivalent) is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic imaging principles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in Ob/Gyn or diagnostic radiology is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
