Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in medical/surgical units, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
Requirements
- Active BLS, TB and Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of hospital medicine practices and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential shifts on weekends or holidays.
