Position: RN, Labor & Delivery
The Labor & Delivery RN provides and coordinates care for obstetric patients within established nursing and hospital guidelines. In this 8-bed LDRP unit, delivering over 350 babies annually, the RN is cross-trained across all aspects of obstetrical care. Working alongside an experienced OB/GYN and pediatric team, the RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, supervise, and evaluate patient care in a collaborative environment.

This is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital offering comprehensive healthcare services including Medical, Surgical, and Intensive Care; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; and Mental Health. The facility provides a wide range of outpatient services, such as Pulmonary, Cardiac, and Physical Rehabilitation; 24-hour Emergency Care; a fully equipped laboratory; and a comprehensive Radiology department.

- AWHONN Required
- 8 Bed Unit
- Ratio - 1:1 (active labor)
- 1:2/3 for Mother/Baby
- NO OR/C-Section knowledge required
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous OB/L&D experience - Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Required
- Fetal Monitoring experience - Preferred
- NRP Certification - Required
- AWHONN Certification - Preferred
- STABLE Certification - Required
- BSN (or better) - Preferred
- Current NH RN or Compact licensure - Required
