Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in medical/surgical units.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIH and CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI)
- Experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and case management.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
