JOB SUMMARY
The RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST performs diagnostic radiographic services by taking radiographs, images made by passing x-rays through an area of the body. Services may include positioning, photographing, and developing film. The Radiologic Technologist works under the direction of the radiologist or physician.

• Facility Type: Virginia Mason Medical Center
• Schedule: 5x8s M-F variable shift
• Compensation: $2,700 per week
• Start Date: 6/30/25

The Manager WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT LOCAL TRAVELERS FOR THIS UNIT!!
Must have WA license at time of submittal!
Department: Radiology (Rad Tech)
- General Certification Requirements: BLS
- Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT
certification and Washington state license.
- How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: total of
10 xray rooms spread throughout the medical center and 34 OR
rooms.
- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Will cover in
addition to General Radiology (x-ray) an outpatient clinic,
Inpatient and Outpatient Fluoroscopy, Outpatient Ortho Clinic,
ER, fluoro/xray room in CCU, and OR-34 rooms. Techs will be
scheduled in one area and rotate areas on a weekly basis- may
need to move areas to cover.
- Common types of imaging & Job Duties: General, fluoroscopy, OR,
and portables.
