Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves working with children from infancy to adolescence who have a wide range of developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to improve a child's mobility, strength, and function. The ideal candidate is patient, creative, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a fun and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess a child's gross motor skills, mobility, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and play-based activities.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and techniques to support their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.

Qualifications:
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in [State].
  • Doctoral or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric physical therapy setting is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
