Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess a child's gross motor skills, mobility, and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and play-based activities.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and techniques to support their child's progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and physicians.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in [State].
- Doctoral or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric physical therapy setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
