The OR RN will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure patient safety, maintain sterile environments, and deliver high-quality perioperative care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and dedicated to supporting positive surgical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care throughout the perioperative process (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op).
- Prepare patients and operating rooms for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams by monitoring patient status and maintaining sterile fields.
- Administer medications and support anesthesia teams as directed.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately.
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and OR best practices.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in TN
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
