Job Description:
Saint Helens Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a travel contract position. Join our team and provide essential nursing care in a professional and supportive skilled nursing environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document accurately
  • Monitor and report changes in resident conditions promptly
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
  • Ensure compliance with infection control practices and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
  • Participate in training, in-services, and staff meetings as required

Requirements:
  • Active LPN license (Oregon or compact state license)
  • Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
  • COVID-19 vaccination record
  • Recent PPD test or clear chest X-ray
  • Clear background check and drug screening
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred

Compensation: All ATC Healthcare employees are hourly. Employees are eligible for overtime, holiday pay, and, depending on location if available. Referral and attendance bonuses are offered to all contract employees.
