Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily activities
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to facility and state regulations
- Assist in patient assessments and report changes in condition to supervising nurses or physicians
- Ensure residents receive compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment
- Educate residents and families about health maintenance and care plans
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Licensure: Current and valid LPN license in WA
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPN in a healthcare or senior living setting
- Certifications: Current BLS certification
- Health Requirements: COVID-19 vaccination; recent PPD test or Chest X-Ray
- Background: Clear criminal background check(s) and drug screening
