Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and mentor the IT team, including network engineers, system administrators, and support staff.
- Oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime of networks, servers, and databases.
- Ensure the security of the company's IT systems by implementing firewalls, encryption protocols, and performing regular vulnerability assessments. Monitor and respond to security incidents.
- Technology Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with leadership to create and implement IT strategies that align with the company's goals, including recommending new technologies and tools.
- System Integration & Support:
- Manage system integration and ensure that new technologies or systems are implemented effectively without disrupting ongoing operations.
- Budgeting & Cost Management:
- Develop and manage the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and maintaining a balance between performance and expenditure.
- Vendor Management:
- Liaise with external vendors for software, hardware, and IT services. Manage contracts and ensure services are delivered as agreed.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime during system failures or natural disasters.
- User Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical support to staff and ensure IT issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Create and maintain support documentation for end-users.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all IT systems and operations are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Maintain up-to-date documentation for IT systems, configurations, and processes.
- Reporting & Performance Metrics:
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on IT performance, projects, and any challenges encountered. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in an IT management role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, network administration, and security protocols.
- Knowledge of IT budgeting and vendor management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Administrative, Microsoft Azure, Outlook, Sharepoint, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Command Prompt.
- Experience with cloud platforms, data management, and enterprise software solutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft 365 Security certification
- Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar.
- Experience with project management and system integration.
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, blockchain).
Work Environment:
- The role may involve on-call support during off-hours or weekends.
- May require occasional travel for vendor meetings or site visits.

- Salary range: $115,000-$130,000 per year
