Pay Rate: $3,200 per week

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (CT) for an assignment in Tacoma, WA. This role involves performing advanced CT imaging procedures in a dynamic, Level II trauma facility, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate GE CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on trauma, inpatient, outpatient, and emergent cases.
  • Provide care and support to patients during CT procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Handle a variety of imaging studies, including procedures requiring advanced skills with trauma patients.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality imaging and patient care.
  • Maintain documentation and imaging records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards using Epic and McKesson PACS systems.
  • Follow established safety protocols, including the use of radiation badges, to ensure personal and patient safety.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including trauma patient care in a Level II facility.
  • Certifications:
    • ARRT (CT) Certification (Required)
    • ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist Certification (Required)
    • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Additional Requirements: Radiation badge (provided by traveler's employer).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with GE CT machines; experience with Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred.
  • Floating: Not required outside the designated department.

Shifts & Scheduling
  • Shift: Night Shift (4x10, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, primarily Monday-Thursday).
  • Floating: May occasionally float to other shifts, including day and swing shifts, as needed.
  • Weekend and Holiday Coverage: As required.

Unit Information
  • Equipment: 4 GE CT scanners-2 inpatient, 1 outpatient, and 1 in the ED (outpatient scanner located within the facility).
  • Common Procedures: CT imaging for trauma, routine scans, and emergent studies.
  • Volume:
    • Outpatient: 12-14 scans per day.
    • Inpatient: 10 patients/day (including procedures).
    • Emergency Department: Approximately 40 scans per day across all shifts.
  • Support: Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech available, except for overnight or weekend shifts.
