ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Telemetry Nurse with MedSurg, Tele, Peds expertise to join our team for a contract assignment in Devils Lake, ND. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Telemetry Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients. Job Details:
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: January 13, 2025
- Shift: Day shift, 36 hours per week
- 12 hours shifts, 0700-1900, no call, 1 weekend every 3rd
- Pay Rate: Competitive pay of $2124 per week, with weekly pay, $948 tax and $1176 stipend
Job Requirements:
- Experience: One year of experience with some travel experience preferred
- Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse License in the State of North Dakota required or approved compact state of residence
- Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) Meditech
- Additional Requirements: compliance with current facility health standards
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to problem solve and engage independent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize work demands and work with minimal supervision.
- RNs must be able to read and interpret, no monitor techs
- # of Beds: 25 (max census in recent months 12-14 patients)
- Types of patients: Peds to Geriatrics
- Nurse: Patient Ratios: Days: 1:4-5, Nights: 1:5-6 (If a patient is truly critical, the nurse will only have 1:1 or 1:2)
