Requirements
- Education: Completion of an accredited program in practical nursing, qualifying you as a Registered Nurse / RN
- Licensure: Current, unrestricted license in the state of Texas as a Registered Nurse / RN
- Experience: Minimum of one year of recent Registered Nurse / RN experience, especially with children, adolescents, and families in a community, school, or home health setting.
- Credentials: Background check, OIG, SAM, OFAC, and NSO screenings as required.
- Current BLS-level CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- Compliance with Hepatitis B vaccine
- TB screening and baseline testing upon hire (two-step PPD or Quantiferon Gold as required)
- Drug screening as per client contract.
- Only clinicians with Ventilator experience/mastery should apply
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate life support systems and medical equipment, such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient reactions.
- Assist students with special needs in daily living skills, social skills, and recreational activities.
- Record and maintain health information in compliance with HIPAA.
- Ensure all care practices respect cultural diversity and age-specific needs.
