Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) at ATC Philadelphia will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Compensation & Benefits:
The Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) at ATC Philadelphia will receive a compensation of $52 to $54 per hour, which will be paid weekly. In addition to the competitive salary, this position also offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401K, and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments of patients' conditions and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and progress
- Collaborate with medical team members to ensure quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment plans
- Prepare and assist with medical procedures and surgeries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and calm manner
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Medical Surgical Nurse
- BLS (required) ACLS (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift and move patients as needed
- Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as scheduled
