Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) position at ATC White Plains is a full time hourly role in the Healthcare industry. Responsibilities
• Provide patient care and services as outlined in ATC White Plains policies and procedures.
• Adhere to relevant laws and regulations pertaining to patient confidentiality, treatment and safety.
• Assess patient status, document thoroughly and communicate changes and interventions to physicians, specialists and nursing staff.
• Monitor patient vital signs, report any changes to the physician and/or other care team members.
• Administer patient medications.
• Provide accurate wound care treatments.
• Answer patient inquiries and explanation of treatments.
• Perform patient care experiments efficiently and accurately.
• Assist physician in specialized strategies, tests and treatments.
• Assist other medical personnel when oxygen specialist or physical timelines and determine appropriate treatment and provide emergency care to acutely ill patients.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
• Advise patients and family members of preventative and rehab strategies.
Requirements
• Must hold an active and valid LPN or LVN license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an LPN/LVN.
• CPR certification
• Experience in a long-term care or acute care setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
