Job Summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist to join our team for a position in Edgewood, KY. As a crucial member of our team. As an inpatient pharmacist, you will be responsible for monitoring the supply of all medicines used in the hospital and are in charge of purchasing, manufacturing, dispensing, and quality testing their medication stock along with help from pharmacy assistants and pharmacy technicians. Services are limited to those in compliance with the facility policies/procedures. Responsibilities
  • Provide Pharmaceutical Care to patients with an emphasis on clinical monitoring and therapeutic interventions that improve patient outcome.
  • Provide information and educational programs to customers.
  • Assist with the maintenance of Performance Improvement processes to constantly improve our Medication Use Process.
  • Assure dispensing accuracy and direct pharmacy workflow to assure accurate and timely dispensing and distribution.


Requirements
  • Experience: 5-year experience required.
  • First-time Travelers: Experience preferred
  • Certifications/License: PharmD (Graduate from ACPE accredited pharmacy college), State License, and ACLS required
    ***KY LIC can be pending at time of submission. Must be in hand at time of start.
  • Charting: EPIC, preferred
  • On-Call:
  • Weekend Requirement: YES, every 4 th weekend
  • COVID & FLU: COVID (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) and Flu required
  • Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 75 miles from location
  • RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
