**$1,000 bonus after 40 hours of work**


up to $54/hour - for over 50 miles from facility
weekly $1000 taxed and $1160 travel stipend nontaxed

Job Description - Hospice RN
The Registered Nurse (RN) plans, organizes and directs hospice care. The RN supervises and coordinates care to patients with an array of terminal illnesses, diseases and compromised health states. The RN provides comprehensive skilled nursing services to qualified patients in their homes or hospice inpatient setting, so that the stated goals and objectives of the agency can be achieved. The nurse works with minimum daily supervision or support while performing interdependent practice in the field. The RN is responsible for supervising the hospice aide, administering medications, symptom assessment and management, education/teaching, and end-of-life care. Contacts: Patient/family contacts in the home and various community settings. Contact with other health care professionals, community agencies, and agency personnel.

Job Requirements for Hospice RN

Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates comprehensive physical assessment skills. Demonstrates ability to implement the nursing process and principles of teaching and learning. Demonstrates good organizational and time management techniques, along with ability to independently prioritize workload. Demonstrates excellent observation, problem solving, and verbal and written communication skills. Competency and verification of skills may be required when applying for specialty practice.

Certs/Licenses REQUIRED : Hospice RN

  • SC or Compact RN License
  • CPR
  • 1 year experience in Hospice
  • SC Driver's License w/ good driving record
