Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)


ATC Healthcare Services is currently seeking a CNA for a local facility that offers residents long term care, short term rehabilitation, respite and hospice services. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides care and services to residents under the supervision of a nurse.

  • Assists the resident with activities of daily living
  • Recognizes residents' strengths and uses rehabilitative nursing techniques to restore or maintain independence
  • Reports observations to Nurse concerning the residents' condition or activities
  • Assist in meeting the resident's emotional needs.
  • Assists in provision of a safe and clean environment
  • Participates as team member in inter disciplinary care conference as requested.
  • Transports residents from one nursing unit to another.
  • Attends staff development programs related to job responsibilities and maintains educational requirements needed for certifications

  • Completion of a state-approved certified nursing program
  • Meets state specific certification requirements and possesses unrestricted certification as a CNA
  • At least six months of work experience as a CNA in healthcare setting
  • Current CPR
