Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Summary

ATC San Diego & Carlsbad is looking for a certified nursing assistant (CNA) to join our team. Our CNA's provide care to residents in a safe and compassionate manner. You will be responsible for assisting patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and ambulation. This is a full-time, hourly position that will require the CNA to work in San Juan Capistrano, California.

CNA Compensation & Benefits

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position offers a competitive wage of $21 to $23 per hour, paid weekly. We also provide excellent paid time off, retirement planning, and insurance benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

The responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Assist patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and ambulation.

• Monitor vital signs for residents as assigned and report changes to healthcare team.

• Assist in range of motion activities, rehabilitation, and therapy.

• Document patient care in accordance with established policies and procedure.

• Attend to individual patient needs such as comfort care(i.e., positioning and ambulation).

• Escort residents to appointments.

• Follow infection control procedures as appropriate.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) requirements:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

• Must possess current knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.

• Must be willing to work on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high stress levels.

• Must be able to lift and transfer residents in accordance with staffing guidelines.

• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks.
