ATC San Diego & Carlsbad is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Our CNA's provide care to residents in a safe and compassionate manner. You will be responsible for assisting patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and ambulation. This is a full-time, hourly position.

CNA Compensation & Benefits

The responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) cares for our patients in activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and ambulation.

• Monitor vital signs for residents as assigned and report changes to healthcare team.

• Assist in range of motion activities, rehabilitation, and therapy.

• Document patient care in accordance with established policies and procedure.

• Attend to individual patient needs such as comfort care (i.e., positioning and ambulation).

• Escort residents to appointments.

• Follow infection control procedures as appropriate.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) requirements:

• Must be State Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

• Must possess current knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.

• Must be willing to work on-call, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high stress levels.

• Must be able to lift and transfer residents in accordance with staffing guidelines.

• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks.
