Pay: $1,749.60/week
Completion Bonus: $1,295 per contract (up to $3,885 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a short-term travel assignment in a correctional facility in Hollister, California. This role provides behavioral health and social services to an incarcerated population, focusing on mental health assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and reentry/discharge planning within a secure environment.

The LCSW will work as part of a multidisciplinary correctional healthcare team to support inmate mental health needs, provide counseling services, and coordinate appropriate treatment plans while maintaining safety, security, and compliance with correctional protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide mental health and psychosocial assessments for incarcerated individuals.
• Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health support.
• Develop treatment and care plans in collaboration with correctional healthcare teams.
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care services.
• Support discharge/reentry planning when applicable.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Work within correctional policies, procedures, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with custody staff and medical teams to ensure safe care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active California LCSW license required (must be licensed to apply).
• Correctional or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Strong crisis management, assessment, and care coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a secure, structured environment.
• Professional judgment, emotional resilience, and strong communication skills.
