Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at a Trauma Level I facility in Orange, California. This role supports high-acuity emergency services and requires strong clinical judgment, crisis intervention skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

The LCSW will provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, care coordination, and discharge planning services for a diverse patient population, including adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This position is ideal for clinicians with strong emergency department experience and trauma-informed care backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform biopsychosocial assessments and crisis evaluations.
• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Coordinate care with internal and external interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide crisis intervention for suicide, self-harm, violence, and substance use.
• Facilitate discharge planning, contingency planning, and care transitions.
• Arrange community resources, guardianship, APS/CPS referrals, and follow-ups.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.
• Support trauma-informed care and emergency workflows.

Qualifications

• Active California LCSW license (must be in hand at submission).
• Minimum 3 years of experience required.
• Emergency Department experience required.
• Trauma Level I experience required.
• Epic experience required (must be documented in work history).
• Strong crisis intervention, assessment, and care coordination skills.
