Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Rehabilitation / LTAC - Travel Position (with $7,050 Completion Bonus)

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Pay: $1,935/week (plus $2,350 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,050 after three contracts) 

 


About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) or Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) team. The RN will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from serious illness, injury, or surgery, focusing on restoring function and promoting independence.

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient progress and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, OT, Speech, Physicians) to achieve rehabilitation goals.
  • Educate patients and families on recovery plans, self-care techniques, and discharge instructions.
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies.
  • Participate in team conferences and contribute to care planning and goal setting.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during rehabilitation.

 


Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. CRRN certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care or rehabilitation nursing experience preferred; LTAC experience highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
