Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Pay: $2,896 /week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surgical Registered Nurse to join our operating room team. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative care, ensuring patient safety and supporting surgical teams before, during, and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and assist with anesthesia support as directed.
• Provide post-operative care, including pain management and recovery monitoring.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver optimal care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CNOR certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of surgical or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and critical thinking skills.
