Responsibilities
- Consulting with medical professionals to understand the scope of the examination
- Explaining MRI procedures to patients and addressing their concerns or anxieties
- Correctly positioning patients for the MRI scanner, considering their health condition and the nature of the examination
- Operating MRI equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitoring patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Adapting imaging parameters to improve image quality or reduce examination time
- Performing routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting issues with MRI equipment
- Maintaining patient records and documenting technical details of the procedures
- Following strict safety procedures to protect patients and staff from excessive radiation
- Working with radiologists to interpret and analyze MRI images and help in diagnosis
Requirements
- Experience: 1-year experience required.
- First-time Travelers: Yes
- Certifications/License: ARRT
- Charting: EPIC required
- On-Call: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- COVID & FLU: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
- Locals allowed: Requires that your permanent residence is more than 50 miles from location
- RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission
