Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT)

Hourly Rate: $24.00 per hour

Position Type: We have Full-Time and Part-Time / Day and Evening shifts available.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university
  • Eligibility for licensure
  • Two years of supervised experience in the area of assignment
  • Preferred: Prior work-related experience with Veteran Services
  • Preferred: Experience with mental health/substance abuse populations
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Fingerprint-based Background Check (Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record)
  • Drug Screen
  • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years

Job Description: The Licensed Clinician works closely with clients, teaching new skills for daily living and connecting them with community resources to enhance their productivity and independence. This role focuses on improving clients' health, promoting wellness, autonomy, and facilitating services through advocacy, communication, education, and resource identification.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily notes, collaborative documentation, and meet monthly productivity goals
  • Conduct assessments and provide counseling services for veterans
  • Manage authorizations and reauthorizations/reassessments as necessary
  • Offer crisis intervention and facilitate appropriate follow-up care
  • Manage caseload, following up on treatment recommendations, and closing charts as needed
  • Guide clients in understanding their illness and related factors
  • Meet mandated deadlines for social services and documentation
  • Connect clients with community resources and make necessary referrals
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication in care reporting/documentation
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians for cross-disciplinary communication
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
  • Perform duties as assigned by supervisor
