Job Summary:
ATC - Northwest is seeking a qualified and compassionate CNA Medication Aide to join our team in Springfield, Oregon. This is a full-time, local per diem position that will require an individual who is committed to providing excellent patient care and has a passion for helping others. As a CNA Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications, assisting with resident care, and maintaining accurate patient records. This is an individual contributor role and will report directly to the Nurse Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Administer and pass medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and procedures
- Monitor and report changes in resident's health status to the Nurse Manager
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Record vital signs and other patient information accurately and timely
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assist in care planning and implementation of resident care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, residents, and their families
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Active and valid CNA and Medication Aide Certifications in the State of Oregon
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA Medication Aide in a Healthcare Setting
Knowledge of medication administration and safe handling practices
COVID Vaccinated
BLS Certification (Preferred)
Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening
