Franchise Development Associate (FDA) | Full-Time Exempt Remote

A Franchise Development Associate drives brand expansion by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective franchise owners through initial stages of the sales pipeline. They are responsible for managing initial outreach, conducting timely follow-ups, maintaining CRM data, coordinating prospect Discovery Days, and supporting the overall sales process to meet growth targets.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Qualification: Manage inbound inquiries, and pre-qualify candidates based on financial, operational, and cultural fit for 2 franchise brands. Conduct outbound prospect lead generation initiatives to augment inbound lead flow as needed. Respond to broker territory availability inquiries in a timely manner.

Sales Pipeline Management: Move prospects through the sales cycle, including scheduling calls, sending marketing materials, and ensuring CRM records and reporting (e.g., HubSpot) are accurate and updated.

Relationship Management: Build relationships with potential franchisees, acting as the first point of contact to answer preliminary questions about the brand and business model.

Event & Logistics Coordination: Assist with organizing and preparing for franchise events such as Discovery or Meet the Team days, which may be virtual or in person.

Administrative Support: Assist in preparing sales reports, tracking KPIs, and facilitating the transition of leads to Franchise Development Directors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Sales Support Experience: 2-3 years of experience in lead qualification for business development or franchise development.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication for presenting the brand and engaging with prospects.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, FranConnect) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Organization: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of franchising is preferred but not required.

Success Metrics:

  • Volume of outbound calls/contacts per day/week.
  • Number of qualified leads added to the pipeline who show for scheduled intro calls.
  • Conversion rate of prospects to signed franchise agreements.
  • Accuracy and quality of work output.
