Pay: $2,520/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

Travel RN Case Manager needed for care coordination focused on stem cell transplant patients in an acute care setting. Role includes comprehensive case management, utilization review, and coordination of complex treatment plans for oncology and autoimmune-related diagnoses. Epic charting experience is required. Position supports adult and geriatric populations. Modules are completed pre-start and annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate care for stem cell transplant patients across the continuum
  • Develop and manage individualized plans of care
  • Perform utilization review, prior authorizations, and pre-certifications
  • Manage appeals and denials with payers
  • Conduct telephonic and ambulatory case management activities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and insurance providers
  • Document all case management activities in Epic

Qualifications

  • Active California RN license required in hand at submission (EMSA not accepted)
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 1 year case management experience required
  • Epic charting experience required and must appear in work history
  • Experience with care coordination, disease management, and plan of care required
  • Experience with prior authorizations, pre-cert reviews, and appeals preferred
  • Two supervisor references required at submission
  • No background or Nursys hits accepted
  • Must meet RTO and compliance requirements at submission
