Pay: $3,168/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Family Birthing Center RN for a travel assignment in Folsom, California, supporting a Family Birthing Center / LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit. This role requires a highly skilled OB nurse who is confident working across L&D, Mother-Baby, and LDRP workflows in a community birthing environment.

This is a hands-on role requiring full-scope OB competence, including attending deliveries, circulating C-sections, newborn transition, and comprehensive postpartum care. The unit manages routine and higher-risk deliveries and requires nurses who can work independently and confidently in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope LDRP nursing care.
• Independently attend and manage deliveries.
• Assist with catching the baby and newborn transition.
• Circulate in C-sections.
• Provide postpartum and mother-baby care.
• Manage high-risk OB patients.
• Administer and titrate drips including Pitocin and insulin.
• Perform NRP at delivery (no in-house pediatric coverage).
• Collaborate with OB, anesthesia, RT, and perinatal specialists.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE LDRP EXPERIENCE (minimum 1 year; 3 years preferred).
• Will accept L&D-only nurses with OR circulating experience.
• Will NOT accept postpartum-only experience.
• RN must be comfortable:
  • Catching baby
  • Attending deliveries
  • Circulating C-sections
  • NRP at delivery
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring
• Active CA RN license required.
