Psychiatrist – Staff Augmentation - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Pay: $7,040/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) 

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide mental health services on a staff augmentation basis. The Psychiatrist will deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic interventions to patients in an inpatient or outpatient setting, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and formulate diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management.
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and nursing staff.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations.
• Participate in case conferences and provide consultation to other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with specialization in Psychiatry.
• Licensure: Current and valid medical license in the state of practice.
• Certifications: Board Certification in Psychiatry preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical psychiatric experience; experience in inpatient or correctional settings is a plus.
• Strong communication, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
