X-Ray Technologist (Travel)

Location: Columbus, OH
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4×10 Days (12:30 PM–11:00 PM; Every 3rd Weekend)
Pay: $2,315.20/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Position Overview

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic imaging in an acute care environment, including portable studies and emergency department imaging.

This role requires experience with EPIC charting, GE/Siemens equipment, and PACS systems. The schedule includes on-call responsibilities and every third weekend. Strict Ohio fingerprinting timelines apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams using GE and Siemens equipment in accordance with facility protocols.
• Conduct portable radiography at the bedside in acute and emergency settings.
• Operate PACS for image storage, review, and transmission.
• Document exams, patient information, and charges accurately in Epic.
• Verify patient identity and exam orders; follow all radiation safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and ED/acute-care staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and safety during imaging procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond within required timeframes.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, readiness, and safe operation.
• Follow all hospital and departmental guidelines related to infection control, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification (required).
• Current Ohio ODH Radiologic License (required).
• BLS certification (required).
• Minimum 1 year of X-ray experience (required).
• Experience with GE/Siemens, PACS, and portable radiography preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• On-call required; must meet all on-call requirements.
• Must work every third weekend.
• RTO must be submitted at time of profile; strict compliance deadlines apply.
• Must complete urgent Ohio fingerprinting immediately after signing contract.
• Two professional references (one leadership) required.
• Locals accepted at same rate.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test required.
