LTACH / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position 
Location: Paramount, CA 
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 3x12s Nights
Pay: $2152.80/week  
Completion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. (You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)

Job Description:  

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity Long-Term Acute Care (LTACH) and Telemetry setting. This position holds shift accountability for managing complex, critically ill patients with a specialized focus on respiratory management. The RN must utilize the Nursing Process, critical thinking, and leadership skills to anticipate and plan for the safe delivery of care while supervising assigned personnel.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act.
  • Provide expert care to patients requiring vent/trach experience.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of central lines and provide management and maintenance as required.
  • Maintain clinical competencies and demonstrate leadership by delegating patient care priorities and providing direction to assigned personnel.
  • Monitor patient status using Telemetry and communicate changes promptly.
  • Preferred experience includes advanced skills in wound care.

Qualifications:  

  • Active RN license in California.
  • Two to five (2–5) years of experience is required.
  • Vent/trach experience and knowledge of central lines.
  • Wound care experience is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
  • COVID vaccine and recent TB test may be required.
