Job Description:

ATC Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking compassionate, caring, and dedicated School Nurses to serve the staffing needs of our schools. ATC has an IMMEDIATE NEED for Registered School Nurses (RN) in Jacksonville, FL.

The school nurse (RN) will be responsible for administering medication and appropriate first aid in accordance with established rules and guidelines. School RN will also maintain student health records, medication logs, etc.

They also assist the schools with routine school nurse responsibilities including immunization follow-up, basic first aid, administration of medication, and performing routine and prescribed procedures.

Pay Rate:

RNs: $35/hr    

School Nurse (RN) will be responsible for:

• Professional, medical treatment of students
• Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations
• Disease prevention
• Promoting programs on health-education and immunization
• Maintaining clinical records
• Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments
• Providing emergency aid to students
• Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education
• Aiding in student transport

School Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Active FL State Board Certified Registered Nurse Licensure
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A desire to work with children.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• A Great Team Player
• Minimum of One-year nursing experience
• BLS from the American Heart Association
•  Current TB Test/PPD
