Job Summary

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide ketamine therapy in an outpatient clinical setting. The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, administer and monitor ketamine treatments, and educate patients throughout their care journey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an NP with experience in psychiatry, pain management, infusion therapy, or behavioral health who is passionate about delivering innovative, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and medical evaluations.

• Determine patient eligibility for ketamine therapy.

• Develop individualized treatment plans.

• Administer and monitor ketamine treatments according to established protocols.

• Monitor patients during and after treatment, responding appropriately to adverse reactions.

• Educate patients on treatment expectations, risks, benefits, and aftercare.

• Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and clinical safety standards.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.

• National certification (FNP, AGNP, ANP, or PMHNP).

• Current DEA registration 

• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred).

• Minimum of one (1) year of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.

• Experience in psychiatry, behavioral health, pain management, infusion therapy, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
