ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join the leadership team at a skilled nursing facility in Marion, South Carolina.

Compensation

  • $46.00–$48.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in the daily management of nursing operations.

  • Supervise, coach, and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations, including CMS and state survey requirements.

  • Monitor resident care plans and ensure accurate clinical documentation.

  • Conduct nursing rounds and address resident care concerns.

  • Assist with staff scheduling, orientation, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive resident outcomes.

  • Promote infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as Acting Director of Nursing in the DON's absence, as needed.


Qualifications

  • Active South Carolina Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.

  • Previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Supervisor, Unit Manager, or Charge Nurse strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey processes, and long-term care standards.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).

  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop clinical staff.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QAPI programs.

  • Infection Prevention and Control experience.

  • Staff education and training experience.

  • Experience managing regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
