Registered Nurse (RN)
- Direct Patient Care: Perform comprehensive assessments, administer prescribed medications, and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Patient & Family Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between the patient, their families, and the medical staff, ensuring compassionate communication and education.
- Clinical Excellence: Maintain accurate medical records, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
- Safety & Quality: Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality metrics, contributing to the hospital's reputation for exceptional patient satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside Patient Care Technicians, Resource Nurses, and Unit Coordinators in a cohesive, fast-paced environment.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or MSN preferred.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse License in the state of Virginia.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. (Additional specialty certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or OCN may be required depending on the unit).
- Experience: Both new graduates and experienced acute-care nurses are encouraged to apply.
