PRN X - Ray Tech Day or Night
Job Details: Radiology / Cardiology
Pay: $57 per hour
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day 5:30am-1:30pm or Night 11pm-7am
Start Date: 6/1/2026
Experience: 1 year
ATC Healthcare seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of clinical settings. This role includes working with diverse patient populations and supporting both routine and emergency imaging needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders
- Operating imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Assisting with bedside/portable imaging throughout the facility
- Supporting imaging needs in:
- Emergency Department
- ICU / PICU / NICU
- Operating Room (including C-Arm procedures)
- Preparing patients for procedures and ensuring comfort and safety
- Accurately documenting and uploading images using PACS
- Following all radiation safety and infection control protocols
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience with a wide range of imaging procedures, including:
- Chest (AP, routine, decubitus views)
- Abdomen (KUB, supine, upright, decubitus)
- Spine, pelvis, and extremities
- Skull, facial bones, sinuses, and TMJ
- Strong experience with:
- Portable/bedside imaging
- Trauma imaging and emergency cases
- Operating Room procedures (C-Arm preferred)
- Knowledge of contrast studies (including barium procedures)
- Familiarity with imaging equipment such as GE Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers
- Strong patient positioning and image quality skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Radiology Tech skills
Requirements:
- ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Active New Jersey License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical X-ray experience preferred
