ABOUT THE MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST POSITION

We have an exciting opening for a Medical Receptionist with a small family medicine practice with two locations - Villanova and Abington, PA.  The family medicine physician sees about 10 patients per day, and is seeking a compassionate receptionist who has excellent customer service to handle all front desk operations.

Schedule, (28 hours per week):

• Villanova:
  • Mondays and Thursdays: 10a-5p
  • Wednesdays: 12p-6p
• Arlington:
  • Tuesdays: 9:30-5p

Credentials required:

• Background screening
• OIG, SAM, OFAC and NSO screening.
• Current health provider CPR from the American Heart Association at the BLS level.
• Hepatitis B Statement or Declination [OSHA 29 CFR, 1910.1030(f)(2)].
• Two-step TB test
• Drug screening

Representative Duties and Responsibilities

• Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
• Maintain records, prepare reports and correspondence.
• Knowledge of laboratory terminology and equipment as necessary/specified by the working environment.
• Methods of analyzing blood, sputum, milk, water, urine, food products, contaminates, soil, industrial and municipal waste.
• Maintains confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility and staff in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Provides patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
