Job Description

ATC Healthcare of Arizona is seeking a skilled and dependable Surgical Technologist for an assignment in West Prescott, Arizona. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons and surgical team members during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures
• Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and draping
• Perform surgical counts and assist with room turnover
• Document and report any breaks in sterile technique or equipment issues

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification 
• Active Arizona license or ability to obtain prior to assignment start
• Minimum of 1 year recent surgical tech experience
• BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Full-time contract assignment
• Day shift (exact schedule may vary)
• Start date: ASAP
• Length of assignment: 13 weeks (with possible extension)
