Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our healthcare team. The PCT will provide direct patient care and support clinical staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Psych experience a must

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient status
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection as needed
• Assist nurses with procedures and patient care tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort
• Communicate effectively with nurses and healthcare team members

Requirements

• Active Patient Care Technician (PCT) Certification – REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association – REQUIRED
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous hospital or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
