Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The Infusion RN will be responsible for administering IV therapies and medications while ensuring safe, high-quality patient care in a clinical or outpatient infusion setting. The ideal candidate is experienced in venous access, patient monitoring, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications, biologics, blood products, and specialty infusions according to physician orders

• Start and maintain peripheral IV lines and access central lines including PICC lines and ports

• Monitor patients during infusions and assess for adverse reactions

• Provide patient education regarding infusion therapy, medications, and potential side effects

• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care

• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License

• BLS and ACLS certification required 

• Minimum 1–2 years of RN experience Infusion

• Experience with IV therapy, PICC lines, and central venous access devices

• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Infusion therapy 

• Experience in outpatient infusion centers or specialty clinics
