Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Conducting comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and functional analyses to determine the root cause of challenging behaviors.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results and data analysis.
- Designing skill acquisition programs focused on communication, social skills, daily living activities, and emotional regulation.
- Providing ongoing clinical supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
- Analyzing graphic data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary clinical adjustments to treatment plans.
- Facilitating parent and caregiver training to ensure the generalization of skills and consistency of support across different environments.
- Collaborating with schools, medical providers, and other community stakeholders to coordinate care and advocate for the individual’s needs.
- Ensuring all clinical documentation, reports, and billing records meet state, federal, and insurance company requirements.
- Participating in clinical meetings and contributing to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- State licensure as a behavior analyst where applicable.
- Proven experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities in home, school, or center-based settings.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and motivate a clinical team.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between service sites.
- Ability to pass all required background checks and health screenings.
- Work may be performed in specialized clinics, schools, private homes, or community settings.
- May require flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of families and individuals served.
- Physical ability to model behavioral interventions, which may include standing, bending, and occasionally lifting or restraining in crisis situations.
