Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supervision to patients adjusting to life in a rehabilitation facility

• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff

• Assist with patient safety and comfort

• Follow infection control and safety procedures

• Maintain patient dignity, confidentiality, and rights

• Support a positive and respectful care environment

Qualifications

• Active New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required

• Completion of a NY State Department of Health approved HHA Training Program or equivalent

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively

• Strong compassion, reliability, and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to bend, lift, and assist adult clients

• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs

Compensation

$19.00 – $20.00 per hour
