Shift: 4x10 Evenings (1:00PM–11:00PM) or 4x9 (2:00PM–11:00PM), Mon–Fri (random weekday off)
Start Date: 03/23/2026
Pay: $2,636/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Roanake VA. This is a high-acuity acute care teaching hospital environment featuring over 700 licensed beds, a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet designation, and certified stroke center recognition. The MRI Tech will work across adult acute care, outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings.
Key Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans across adult acute care, outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings using Siemens systems.
Apply appropriate imaging protocols (T1/T2, diffusion, MRA/MRV, MRCP, perfusion) and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast agents; start and manage peripheral IVs as needed.
Ensure patient safety and comfort, screening for contraindications and monitoring during procedures.
Document procedures and patient data accurately in Epic while maintaining regulatory and safety compliance.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff; float to other units as required.
Qualifications
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred
Strong Siemens MRI experience required
Epic charting experience required
Experience in adult acute care and ER/Trauma settings preferred
Active state license (if applicable)
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
