LTAC / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights or 3x12 Days
Pay: $2,167.20/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced LTAC / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel assignment supporting medically complex patients in a long-term acute care setting. The RN is accountable for delivering patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. This role requires strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe, effective care, as well as supervising and delegating to assigned staff. Candidates must be able to start within 2–3 weeks of offer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process in an LTAC / Telemetry environment
• Monitor and manage patients with complex, chronic, and ventilator-dependent conditions
• Deliver and coordinate care in accordance with clinical policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in patient care planning
• Delegate tasks appropriately based on staff skill level and patient acuity
• Supervise and support assigned personnel delivering patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Manage central lines, tracheostomies, and ventilator-supported patients
• Document all care accurately in the EMR

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or multi-state compact RN license
• 2–5 years of RN experience required
• LTAC and/or Telemetry experience preferred
• Ventilator and tracheostomy care experience required
• Knowledge of central lines required
• Wound care experience preferred
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• ACLS certification (AHA) required
• Must be able to start within 2–3 weeks of offer
• Required certifications must be attached at submission
