RN Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location: Maryville, TN
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Pay: $1,996.20/week
Completion Bonus: $2,450 per contract (up to $7,350 after three contracts)

Job Description

Travel RN needed for a Labor and Delivery unit providing comprehensive care for laboring patients, deliveries, and newborn stabilization. Role includes triage, inductions, cesarean sections, NSTs, circumcisions, and newborn resuscitation and stabilization. Weekend coverage, call, and floating to other qualified units are required. Epic charting experience is required. No first-time travelers accepted.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope labor and delivery nursing care
• Perform obstetrical triage assessments and NSTs
• Support inductions, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections
• Assist with external versions and circumcision care
• Provide newborn resuscitation and stabilization
• Administer magnesium sulfate and other obstetric medications
• Monitor fetal status using external and internal fetal monitoring
• Document all care in Epic
• Float to other units within skill set as needed

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required
• NRP required
• AWHONN Intermediate required
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year Epic EMR experience required
• Must be willing to float and take call
• No first-time travelers accepted
