Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4x10 Days (7:30am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday with rotating day off; call required)
Pay: $3,000/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist needed for a high-volume procedural department with normal business hours and rotating day off. Role supports interventional procedures only (no Cath, EP, Neuro, or Hybrid OR). Work is performed in multiple procedure rooms alongside a multidisciplinary team. Call coverage includes one primary weekday and one backup weekday per month plus one weekend every six weeks. Epic charting preferred. Siemens equipment experience required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with and perform interventional radiology procedures
  • Operate Siemens imaging equipment and C-arm systems
  • Support biopsies, vascular access, embolization, stent placement, and drainage procedures
  • Prepare rooms, supplies, and sterile fields for procedures
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Document procedures and patient data in Epic
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and advanced practice providers

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years interventional radiology experience required
  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Proficiency with Siemens equipment required
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Experience with vascular and interventional procedures strongly preferred
  • Two professional references required (one from a manager or supervisor)
  • Must meet Ohio fingerprinting and compliance timelines
