MRI Technologist

Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3×12 Nights (1800–0630)
Pay: $2,746.80/week
Completion Bonus: $2,500 per contract (up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. This role supports a high-acuity hospital environment with routine ICU scanning and advanced MRI capabilities. Candidates must meet distance requirements and be comfortable with night shifts, call, and floating as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans including neuro, MSK, abdominal, breast, and enterography studies
• Safely scan ICU patients using MRI-safe ventilators, IVACs, and monitoring equipment
• Operate Siemens MRI scanners (1.5T Aera)
• Start IVs as needed and follow MRI safety protocols
• Accurately document exams in EPIC
• Participate in shared call rotation (weekday and periodic weekend call)
• Float as needed per facility policy

Qualifications

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience (1.5 years considered with strong Level I / large hospital background)
• Siemens scanner experience required
• IV start experience strongly preferred
• Cardiac experience a plus
• Traveler’s permanent address must be >100 miles from the facility
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and call as scheduled
